Saint-Gobain invests in a digital start-up in India





The materials giant has taken a minority stake in Livspace, a digital intermediation platform that offers complete solutions for the residential interior design market from design to installation.


Founded in 2015, Livspace, a digital intermediation platform offering complete solutions for the residential interior design market from design to installation, occupies a leading position in the Indian market.


To date, Livspace offers its services to approximately 20,000 households in India each year and is expected to grow rapidly in the future.


These are all assets that have prompted Saint-Gobain to take a minority stake in the company.


This investment will strengthen the group’s comprehensive solution offering in the Indian residential housing market, which represents more than 80% of the country’s construction market.
