Indo-French Ties: A New Milestone in Marseille

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron jointly inaugurated India’s new Consulate General in Marseille, marking a significant expansion of India’s diplomatic presence in France. This is India’s second diplomatic mission in the country, following the Embassy in Paris, and is set to deepen the strong historical and economic ties between the two nations. 🌍✨



Before the inauguration, both leaders paid tribute at the Mazargues War Cemetery, honoring the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought in the World Wars. 



Their visit underscores the enduring historical connections and shared values between India and France. 🎖️🙏



The Consulate General in Marseille will play a crucial role in:
